For years, the US sweepstakes casino market has largely been defined by a handful of dominant brands. Chumba Casino, LuckyLand Slots and a small group of early movers established themselves as household names in a sector that offered an alternative to traditional online gambling.

The latest market data, however, suggests the competitive landscape is beginning to change.

According to Blask.com, Chumba Casino remains the clear market leader, accounting for 20.54% of total Brand’s Accumulated Power (BAP) across the US sweepstakes casino market. Yet despite its commanding position, the brand recorded a 21.06% year-over-year decline, indicating that market leadership no longer guarantees continued momentum.

Rather than one operator pulling away from the field, the US sweepstakes market appears to be entering a new phase characterised by increasing competition and rapid growth among emerging brands.

The Leaders are still Leading – But the Gap is Narrowing

Although Chumba Casino comfortably retains first place, the data shows that several of the market’s largest operators are losing user interest compared to last year.

LuckyLand Slots, the second-largest brand, also recorded negative annual growth, declining by 12.6%. Meanwhile, brands such as Crown Coins also experienced a year-over-year contraction.

This doesn’t necessarily mean these operators are losing players in absolute terms. Instead, it reflects a market where newer entrants are capturing a larger share of overall consumer attention.

For a sector that was once relatively concentrated, that’s an important shift.

Infographic ranking the top 20 sweepstakes casinos in the US by Brand's Accumulated Power (BAP), highlighting Chumba Casino, LuckyLand Slots, Stake, Modo and other leading brands, with year-over-year growth data, key market insights and methodology based on Blask data from 21 June 2026.

Growth is Coming from a New Generation of Brands

The most striking story isn’t who sits at the top of the rankings – it’s who is climbing them. Several relatively young sweepstakes casinos posted extraordinary annual growth.

Among the standout performers are:

  • High 5 Casino (+165.1%)
  • Yay Casino (+157.9%)
  • Lucky Rush (+115.2%)
  • Legendz (+139.9%)
  • Real Prize (+56.19%)
  • Funzpoints (+25.24%)

Some brands outside the market leaders, including LoneStar and Lavish Luck, recorded four-digit percentage growth, highlighting just how quickly awareness can accelerate within the sweepstakes model.

While these operators still represent a relatively small share of total market interest, their growth suggests that consumers are increasingly willing to explore alternatives to the long-established names.

Stake.us has Become one of the Market’s Biggest Players

Another notable development is the continued rise of Stake.us. Often confused with Stake.com’s international crypto casino, Stake.us operates exclusively under the US sweepstakes casino model, allowing players to participate using Sweepstakes Coins rather than traditional real-money wagering.

The platform now ranks as the third-largest sweepstakes casino brand in the United States, accounting for 7.76% of total Brand’s Accumulated Power.

Its year-over-year growth of 6.91% is relatively modest compared with many emerging competitors, but its position demonstrates that the Stake brand has successfully established itself among the market’s leading operators.

Competition is Accelerating

One of the biggest takeaways from the rankings is the increasing fragmentation of the market. Rather than seeing one dominant challenger emerge, user interest is spreading across a wider range of operators.

For affiliates, this creates new opportunities.

Historically, much of the industry’s SEO and acquisition efforts focused heavily on Chumba Casino and LuckyLand Slots. As newer brands continue gaining visibility, affiliate publishers may benefit from expanding their coverage to include fast-growing operators that are building brand awareness.

Operators face a similar challenge. Maintaining market leadership is becoming more difficult as acquisition costs increase and consumers become more willing to try alternative platforms.

Why Brand’s Accumulated Power matters

Unlike raw traffic estimates, Blask’s Brand’s Accumulated Power (BAP) measures a brand’s share of overall user interest within the market.

The metric is derived from Blask Index data and reflects informed user intent based on attributed search behaviour rather than simple website visits.

That makes it particularly useful for identifying shifts in brand awareness before they necessarily appear in revenue or player numbers.

As a result, declining BAP doesn’t automatically indicate falling revenue—but it can provide an early signal that competitors are beginning to capture consumer attention.

The Business of iGaming’s View

The US sweepstakes casino sector remains one of the fastest-evolving segments of the online gaming industry. Unlike regulated online casinos, sweepstakes operators continue to compete in an environment where marketing, branding and product innovation often determine market share more than licensing advantages.

The latest Blask data suggests the market is becoming increasingly competitive.

While Chumba Casino remains the benchmark by a considerable margin, the next chapter of the industry’s growth may be defined less by established leaders and more by the rapid emergence of ambitious challengers that are steadily reshaping the competitive landscape.
